Volunteer Requirements

To join the ManaTeam as a volunteer, we ask that you meet the following program requirements:

• Be at least 14 years old
• Submit a completed application
• Pass a Background Check (for volunteers aged 18 and up)
• Interview with the Volunteer Coordinator 
• Complete orientation & training
• Commit to at least 2 months service
• Comply with our policies & procedures

Volunteers are integral to the Manatee Center’s daily operations and we are very willing to work around your availability. Each role has specific instruction for the duties required and you will work with the Volunteer Coordinator to schedule your training.
